Vestas Spare Parts & Repair is an independent corporate business unit in Vestas Wind Systems A/S. Spare Parts & Repair is responsible for purchasing, warehousing, repair operations, distribution, and support in connection with spare parts globally in the Vestas organisation – This is a fastpaced environment with strong growth potential.
Spare Parts & Repair is currently located in Randers and Videbæk, Denmark, and Krefeld, Germany, Barcelona, Spain, Bristol, UK, and shortly to add US location.
The Repair Shop in Vilafranca is in charge of the repair of some strategic componentsfor Vestas wind turbines.
In order to support the operations in the Vestas Repair shop, we are currently looking for a Supplier coordinator to control the repair loop at major OEMs.
Responsibilities and tasks
To provide guidance, monitor and control the repair loop of main components .
EnsuresSAP system compliance through the use of MRP, Repair Orders and by monitoring, reporting and tracking of material flow.
Your specific tasks are
Âż Have weekly monitoring and reporting of the suppliers by means of reoccuring reporting and direct communication with supplier account managers.
Âż Report in daily management meetings.
Âż Update and maintain monthly reporting to direct management.
Âż Track and identify points of improvement and turn weighted findings into action.
Âż Assure reception on time of components.
Âż Daily follow on the flow of materials.
Âż Fill in Repair Orders in terms of item consumption and in cooperation with Operation Department
Âż Dispatch finished goods in the system, assuring a good quality of information.
Âż Provides recommendations to Management regarding process implementation, development and maintenance of the system, internal flows and MRP configuration
Âż Perform accuracy checks on Repair Orders and all material elated transactions in SAP
